It is located 500 m west from the Kozan-Kadirli-Ceyhan highway; 11 km southeast from the district of Kozan in the Adana Province. The northern and western slopes of the Çiris Hill are on the west part of the bedrock. It was researched within the scope of the "Adana and Kayseri Surveys (Sariz and Lozan)'' performed by S. Girginer et al. in 2004. The ceramics gathered from the field are dating to the EBA; 2nd Millenium BC; Roman; and Byzantien Periods. Additionally there are obsidian and flintstone finds (Girginer 2006:298).
