The mound is located 1 km west of Sarikavak Village; of Eskisehir; 3.5 km southwest of Arslanli Village; Eskisehir; 4 km south from Kadikuyusu; 200 m east from Kocadere; 1 km northwest of Tepeköy (Kuytuklu). It was researched within the scope of the "Afyonkarahisar Province and Districts Archaeological Survey" performed by Ö. Koçak et al. in 2005. The settlement which is 150 m in diameter; is situated on a natural cape that extends in the Eskisehisehir Lowland [Koçak-Işık 2007:363-364]. |
