| It is an acropolis settlement; 4 km southeast of the Selimiye Village of the Marmaris District of the Mugla Province. The survey conducted by Diler in 1993 yielded agricultural terraces and oil workhops around the acropolis; probably from the Hellenistic and Roman Periods. A big press bed of the oil workshop was identified 20 to 30 m east of the dirt road around the Kozaktasi Mevkii of the Kizilköy Quarter to the west of the hill [Diler 1995a:442]. |
