A bridge was identified between Çesmeköy and Kumyer during the surveys conducted by Bean and Cook in 1950s to the west of the Dtaça District of the Mugla Province. Made of stone; it is a duplex bridge. The braces form a triangular gap. Thus; it is compared with the early bridges in Argolis. With a width of 7.6 m; and a lenght of ca. 65 m; it was also noted by Newton and Maiuri. They suggest that it can be dated to the early Hellenistic Period [Bean-Cook 1952:180]. It has a well-preserved masonry [Tuna 1988:312]. Sone inscribed blocks were recored at Çesmeköy; one of them being a grave stele. One on a marble blocks is from the Late Period [Bean-Cook 1952:198-199].
