It is situated near the motorway running between the Çeltikci District center and the Bagsaray Town on the slopes of the Ala Mountain; southwest of the Çeltikçi District; south of the Burdur Province. Surveys were conducted by a team under the direction of M. Waelkens on behalf of the Leuven Catholic University. A village or a farm from the Roman Period was identified in the mound found here. Nearby; there is a necropolis of the settlement. The necropolis includes khamosorions; some being decorated with reliefs; arcosoliums and independent sarchophagi. This site is revisited by Özsait-Özsait (N) in 2009. During the research Roman Period remains are observed almost everywhere including sigillata and pottery, architectural pieces, sarcophagus groups of two or three that were created with delicate workmanship (possibly a family grave), mausoleum remains, sacrificial alcoves and door stones [Özsait-Özsait (N) 2011:46].
