It is situated in the north of the Tepeli Village 9 km west of Idil, in the village of Tepeli of Idil District at Sirnak. It is 1 km north from Idil-Midyat motorway. It was discovered during the Sirnak Province Survey performed by G. Kozbe et el. in 2006. It measures 120 m north to south, and 280 m from east to the west, it is 12 m high. A small amount of survey finds were collected over the mound (sherds and an animal figurine fragment) [Kozbe 2008:176]. |
