It is at a dominant location overlooking the Tigris River. It is situated approximately 1 km northwest of Ruçi Tepe, 2.5 km north of Üçyol Village in the Hasankeyf District of Batman Province. This location is the highest point of the area between Zir Stream in the west and Kilise Stream in the east. It was discovered during the Palaeolithic Age Survey at Ilisu Dam Lake Area by H. Taskiran and M. Kartal in 2006. The collected sherds that were scattered on the hill consist of 18 specimens, and out of these 7 specimens are cores, the 10 specimens are flakes. One specimen is the fragment from the center part of a double sided blade. Besides the specimens that show traces of Tigris type of Levallois chipping technology, there are also core and flake specimens that give the impression of Clactonian technology. Two of the cores bear the characteristics of Upper Palaeolithic Age. This was coded: T62/15 [Taskiran-Kartal 2008:443-44].
