It is situated in the Gulf of Iskenderun at Hatay Province. It was investigated by Lehmann et al. in 2006. It was dated to the Ottoman period [Lehmann et al. 2008:181]. An abandoned village on a hill; it is identified on the maps by Kiepert and Dussaud as an existing settlement. Today only two türbe; Alawite shrines; are in use. Stone foundations of buildings and concentrations of pottery and roof tiles are visible on the surface [Lehmann et al. 2008:181]. |
