It is situated 1.5 km south of Baykara Village in Selim District of Kars Province. Baykara Stream flows from the north of the settlement then to the west and south of the settlement. The settlement was founded on the rock which is right above the stream. The surface of the rock was flattened. There are fortification remains on the east skirt of the settlement. It was researched during the survey performed by A. Ceylan et al. in 2007. The sherds collected from the settlement belong to Late Chalcolithic, EBA, Iron and Medieval Age [Ceylan et al. 2009:142-143]. |
