It lies 300 m north of the Kabali Stream; 200 m north of the Boyabat Exit on the Sinop-Gerze motorway; southeast of Sinop Province. It measures 15 m in height and 75x50 m in dimensions. It was discovered in 1987 during the Sinop Survey conducted by M.A. Isin. Pottery of the Chalcolithic Age; the EBA and the Byzantine Period was collected from the surface. EBA pottery collected from the surface belongs to the early phase. It takes place in the registered archaeological sites list prepared by Ministry of Culture and Tourism. |
