It lies northwest of Çogulhan Village; southeast of Tanir; north of Kahramanmaras Province. Next to it; the Elbistan-Tanir highway passes by. It has been severely damaged by the villagers of Çogulhan. It is a big mound. It measures 10 m in height and 100x10 m in dimensions. The surface collection carried out on the foothill and top hill of the cone-shaped mound suggested the presence of an EBA settlement (eastern ware; black rimmed/black ware; fine ware/plain ware; wheelmade coarse ware; ware called Ozan ware since it was first recovered at Ozan Höyük). It was documented as Cholu Han by von der Osten and Çolhan Köy by Brice. |
