The mound; appearing on the 1:200.000 map; lies southwest of Karaman; 1.5 km north of Akçasehir. It was discovered by J. Mellaart and dated to the EBA. During the survey conducted by H. Bahar in 2002; pottery sherds indicating a settlement beginning from the Chalcolithic Period were found. It takes place in the registered archaeological sites list prepared by Ministry of Culture and Tourism. |
