Plenty of sherds, a few flintstones, fragment of a stone bracelet and mudbrick clinker were found on fields extending in levels towards the Mihcilar Stream in front of a low rocky ridge at the immediate exit of the Sipahiler Village near the barley fields flanking the road to the immediate southeast of the Karafurun Quarter in the Ihsangazi District of Kastamonu. Probably it had an interrupted occupation from the Chalcolithic Age until the Hellenistic Period. |
