| It is situated 4 km northwest of the Sögüt District, southeast of the provincial center of Bilecik. It lies on a natural hill in a valley at the confluence of two streams. To the west of runs the Gözpinar Stream, and to the east runs the Kadipinar Stream while to the south runs the Sögüt-Bilecik motorway. The hill is locally known as Sarniçlar Mevkii. It was discovered by T. Efe who conducted surveys in the region in 1990. It is around 100 m in diameter. To the northeast is a fresh water resource. The material collected from the mound belongs to the EBA III, 2nd Millennium BC and Classical Period. |
