| It is situated east-northeast of the Çalbasi (Minos) Village, north of the Kavak District in Samsun. To the north-northeast runs the Samsun-Kavak motorway, and to the east is the former road to Ankara. The Mert Stream flows through the northern skirt of the hill. Sherds belonging to the 3rd, 2nd and 1st Millenia and Hellenistic Period were collected. It takes place in the registered archaeological sites list prepared by Ministry of Culture and Tourism. |
