It is situated 1.5 km southeast of the Karaburunu Village in the Sorgun District of Yozgat. It measures 9 m in height, and 90 m in diameter, surrounded with swamps. It was discovered during the surveys conducted in 1990 under the direction of S. Omura in Central Anatolia. Several Chalcolithic Age, EBA and Iron Age sherds were collected. |
