It is situated within the borders of the Tepekütügün Village of the Bayat District in Çorum. It is located at coordinates 97-96 (north) on section G32-d3 of Çankiri in the 1:25000 scale. It lies approximately 2-2.5 m south of the village, measuring about 150x300 m in dimensions. The western slopes are steep. A limited number of EBA sherds and abundant number of sherds belonging to the Old Hittite pottery were found. Also found are a few sherds dating to the 1st Millennium BC. |
