It lies to the northwest of the Tuz Gölü Plain, 1 km southeast of the Akin Village in the Sereflikochisar District of Ankara. The mound has been enclosed by a wall, and used as a cemetery. It measures 98 m in diameter, and 10 m in height. It was found during the Central Anatolian Survey conducted under the direction of S. Omura in 1991. Limited number of sherds collected from the surface are dated to the EBA, Iron Age and Classical Age. It was researched again during the survey by S. Omura in 2003. The dimensions of the mound are: 150 m in north-south direction, 200 m in east-west direction, it is 7.5 m high. MBA, IA and Roman period material were collected from the surface of the mound [Omura 2008:213; 218]. It takes place in the registered archaeological sites list prepared by Ministry of Culture and Tourism.
