It lies east of the Akpinar Village in the Ortaköy District of Aksaray. It is 128 m long in east-west, and 91 m long in north-south directions, and 6 m in height. With an oval form, the mound has been destroyed due to a windmill constructed on the eastern section. It has been surrounded by cultivated fields. It was discovered in 1995 during the Central Anatolia surveys conducted under the direction of S. Omura. Sherds from the EBA, MBA, LBA and Iron Age were collected from the surface.
