It is situated at an altitude of 2000 m, 800 m southwest of the Sazlisu Village in the Çildir District of Ardahan. It has been heavily destroyed as it has been leveled to be used for agricultural activities. The settlement was founded on a large bedrock. To the south runs a river, and to the southeast is a road to uplands. Overlooking the envrionment, it is connected to a large chain of mountains to the immediate northwest. It is reported that in the vicinity there are settlements, which were subordinate to this settlement. The collected sherds belong to the Late Chalcolithic Age, Early Bronze Age, Iron Age and Middle Age. |
