With a height of ca. 20 m, and a diameter of 150 m, the southern slope of the mound has been obscured by the modern settlement. It includes simple ware belonging to the first half of the 1st Millennium BC, and similar red slipped, burnished, and wheelmade ware group (particularly known from the Kabara level at Tell Halaf, Nimrud, Amique phase O, Syrian Hittite level at Hama and Palestinian Early Iron Age II). |
