It is situated across the site so called Yayladere Ruins to the south of the Sazlidere Valley, west of the Sazlidere Village in the Çildir District of Ardahan. It has an altitude of 2000 m. No architectural remains are observed except a structure identified as chapel. The chapel is in ruins to a great extent, it was built with small stones and powdered bricks. A limited number of Iron Age sherds were found around the site. |
