Location: It is located at the area called Magara Burnu Mevkii; east of the region where the Sofular Brook reaches at the Black Sea; to the north of the Kizilca-Sofular villages; west of the Sile District. It is at an half an hour walking distance from Sofular. |
Geography and Environment: It was developed within the limestones. Of two entrances; the right one is bigger and measures 10 m in width; and 5 m in height. It is combined with the smaller entrance in a hall of 20 m long; 8 m wide; and 4-5 m high. A gallery which gets lower and higher continues for another 40 m. From this point on; there is only a gallery of 20-30 m which can be passed only by crawling. Along this gallery; it is adorned with stalactites and stalagmites. It is a dry cave. |
