| Destruction Details: Today, the mound is surrounded by the modern neighbourhood. There are residential buildings built on the foothills in the recent past. In some parts, it is seen that the mund was destructed in order to provide space for those buildings. Also there are traces of illicit digging and it is observed that the foothills were trimmed in order to open space for agriculture. It is possible that Güne_li Höyük is going to be completely destroyed in the near future if precautions are not taken [Dumankaya et. al. 2018: 586-587]. |
